Beautiful Free Crochet Coaster Pattern

One of my favorite projects to crochet is a fun easy coaster.  This coaster crochet pattern is ideal for making in a short amount of time.  It fits any home, style, or occasion, this list has something to suit your needs any time of year.  You’ll love how cute these are once complete.

This crochet coaster pattern can be worked with any yarn color or size. I used LovLim  Crochet Yarn. Using a much smaller yarn and a smaller crochet hook will make the stitching more delicate and the pattern stunning and lace like.

Terminology:
ch = chain
sc = single crochet

tc = triple crochet

blsc =back loop single crochet

st = stich

sl st = slip stich

rep = repeat

Additional Terms:

Picot: using tight tension, ch 3 or 5, sl st back into first st

Back loop (bar) of sc – Instructions: Look at the back of the stitch and locate the short loop (bar) that runs horizontal. Work all stitches for the designated section into this loop.

Pattern for the beautiful crochet coaster

Ch 10, sl st in the first ch to form a ring.

Round 1: Ch 2, 17 dc in the ring, sl st.

Round 2: Ch 4, 2tc sts in the nex two sts, ch 3, 3 tc sts in the next 3 st, [3tc sts in the nex three sts, ch 3, 3 tc sts in the next 3 sts] rep. to the end of thr row, sl st.

Round 3 : Ch 5, sc in the 3^rd tcst , [5 sc in the ch3 space, sc in the 1^st tc st, ch 5, sc in the 3^rd tcst] rep to the end of the row, sl st  in the first  ch5loop of the row.

Round 4: Ch 5, 1 tc in the ch 5 loop, ch1, 1tc, ch1 till you have 5 tc, ch 3,[5tc in the next ch5 loop with ch 1 between the tc sts], rep , sl st in the 3th ch (6 sets of 5 tc, ch 3), sl st in the 4t chain of the first tc .

Round 5: Ch 4, 3tc sts in the following 3 sts including ch, skip one, ch 3, 4tc st in the following  sts, ch 5, 4tc sts in the next tc set of sts, ch3, 4 tc sts , ch 5, sl st.

Round 6: Ch 1, 4sc, 1sc in the ch3 space, ch 9, sc in the ch 3 space, 4 sc in the next 4 sts, 7 sc in the ch 5 sp, 4sc in the next 4 sts, 1 sc in ch 3 sp, ch9, 1 sc in ch 3 sp sl st in the 1st sc.

Round 7: Ch 1, [7tc in 9 ch space, picot (ch 5, sl st into the first st), continue with another set of 7 tc in ch 9 sp, sc in the 4^th sc st of previous round, dc in the 4^th sc of previous round,  picot ( ch 3, sl st at the base of ch 3), ch 1, dc in the same st where we worked our 1^st dc, picot (ch 3, sl st at the base of ch 3), ch 1, picot (ch 3, sl st at the base of ch 3) picot (ch 3, sl st at the base of ch 3) (4 dc sts), sc in the 4^th sc of previous round, 7tc st in ch 9 space] rep to the end of the row, sl st.
