It just wouldn’t be Christmas without bells, and these cuties look as good on the tree as they are easy to make.
These bells are crocheted in rounds, in one piece, from the top of the bell to the bottom of the bell. You can also use a piece of ribbon for the tie instead of the yarn chain ribbon which I have used; or embroider on the outside of the bell to add a personal touch.

Round 3: ch 1, sc in the first ch-1 sp, ch 6, sc in the next ch-1 sp. Continue this pattern around unti you get to the last ch-1 space. Wor 1 sc in the ch-1 sp, ch 2 and work one dc st in the very first sc st of the round.

Puff stitch – Yarn over, insert hook into ring, yarn over and pull through*. Repeat from * 2 more times. You should have 7 loops on your hook. Yarn over one last time, and pull hook through all the loops on your hook.
CROCHET STAR
Start with a magic ring.
Round 1: *Work 1 puff stitch. Chain 2*. Repeat from * 4 more times for a total of 5 puff stitches. Slip stitch into the top of the first puff stitch.
Round 2: Chain 2. In the same stitch, work (2 DC, Chain 1, 3 DC). In the next 4 puff stitches, work (3 DC, Chain 1, 3 DC). Slip stitch into the first DC to end the round.
Round 3: *Chain 1. In the chain space from the previous round, work (1 HDC, 2 DC, Chain 2, 2 DC, 1 HDC). Chain 1. Slip stitch into 3rd DC from hook.* Repeat from * 4 more times. The last slip stitch should end the round.
Fasten off and weave in ends.

Can’t get enough of sweet treats? Then here’s a free candy cane ornament pattern from with a surprising twist – it’s just two coiled pieces of crochet sewn together to create an impressive result!
It’s time to crochet a festive candy cane ornament using Caron Simply Soft yarn.
MEASUREMENT
Approx 5½” [14 cm] long.
GAUGE
13 sc and 14 rows = 4” [10 cm].
INSTRUCTIONS
Coil (make 1 each in A and B)
Ch 40. 2 dc in 4th ch from hook. 3 dc in each ch to end of chain.
Fasten off.
Twist Coils around each other to form Candy Cane.
Bend slightly approx 2½” [6 cm]
from top.
Using A, tack loosely to form curve.
