Front Post Double Crochet (fpdc): Yarn over, insert your hook from front to back to front around the post of the next stitch, yarn over, pull up a loop, yarn over, pull thru 2 loops on your hook, yarn over, pull thru remaining two loops on your hook.

Back Post Double Crochet (bpdc): Yarn over, insert your hook from back to front around the post of the next stitch, yarn over, pull up a loop, yarn over, pull thru 2 loops on your hook, yarn over, pull thru remaining two loops on your hook.

DC2TOG (double crochet 2 together): is a really cool and easy decreasing stitch!
Basically, it takes 2 stitches and combines them into 1!

Yarn Over, insert hook through stitch to be worked. Yarn over, draw back through stitch, you now have 3 loops on your hook! Yarn over, draw back through first 2 loops only, yarn over, insert your hook into next stitch. Yarn over, draw back through stitch, there are now 4 loops on your hook! Yarn over, draw back through first 2 loops only. Yarn over, draw back through the last 3 loops on your hook. You have now finished a DC2TOG!

Start making a magic ring. Chain 1.

Round 1: work 6 sc stitches in the ring. Join round with a slip stich in the firs sc st. (6 sc sts)
